UDA Camp
Every summer, the dance team attends Universal Dance Association's collegiate dance camp at The University of Scranton. For four days, college and university dance teams from all over the country gather to learn new choreography and technical skills, receive individual and team evaluations, as well as focus on team building. This experience is essential as the skills learned and fond memories set the stage for the upcoming season. It is for this reason that the Dance Team typically holds auditions prior to the summer camp in order to prepare for the following school year.
This summer TCNJ placed 3rd in the Fight Song competition. Each year, the team returns to camp stronger, having improved a great deal as a team. The team has received the "Most Improved" and "Superior Program" awards in past years. TCNJ's Dance Team is full of a committed group of dancers that grow closer and stronger throughout camp and the school year. The team is prpud to represent TCNJ and support it's athletic programs throughout all seasons.
