Dance Team Auditions
Being a member of the TCNJ Dance Team is a big commitment. The team begins its season with summer practices (May through August). The team also attends a Universal Dance Association summer camp and begins performing in late-August at all of the home football games. It is for this reason, that the team holds auditions in the spring. All current TCNJ students, transfer students and incoming freshman are invited to audition. Auditions are conducted over 2 consecutive weekend days where dancers will learn 2 short dance routines and work on technical skills. Some required skills include: triple pirouette, fuette turns and switch leaps.
